she's still hanging on

Friends-

Ann is still hanging on, visiting with friends, but declining. When possible, we read your posts to her and she appreciates them. She is surrounded by friends and family, full of love and support.

When you post a reply, please include your name, since not all have been showing up!

Ann, I went yesterday and read about Linda in the Daily Hampshire Gazette. She sounded like such a wonderful person. I said a Rosary for you and Linda because I believe with all my heart that she is waiting for you. I don't really want you to go but I so believe Linda is there waiting. Please know you are loved by a fellow myeloma patient and you gave me such laughter and positive writings. Your friends are a miracle to you and to this world. Rebecca Weber

Ann, I wish you and Linda and my partner Cindy and I had met. Cindy died of cancer in Dec. 2008. I am in a writing group at your church and am friends with folks you know there. I have felt a connection to you since I first learned about Linda's death and then about your own illness. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers even though I have only "met" you in cyberspace. I believe with all my heart that there is not such a great divide between this life and life ahead on the other side. It's all part of being human, as God has created us. I send you love. Love you Ann! The shows we did together were some of my favorites, and not just because we could do jokes about being mistaken for each other - I was the one "striking out with the ladies!" You are one of the funniest comics I've ever had the privilege of working with and you are awesome! Love you, much love and hugs, Gregory B. Dubno

Clarese and Paula Cole are sitting in the court house hoping the best for Ann and her family. I hope she is not suffering and that God has his arms around her through this difficult time.

Her humor and compassion will be missed by all.

Ann - Thinking of you often, as are many of your MassMutual family. Your humor, kindness and friendship have meant much to me.

Please know you're in my thoughts & prayers. Take good care, my friend!

Hi Ann,

Count me in as one of the fortunate ones to have made your acquaintance.. I will always remember you calm dry wit and way with the spoken (and written!) word. I think of you often and will continue to do so..

Dear Ann,
I just want to say how truly saddened I am to know I will not see your smiling face in the halls or the "girls" room. I've shared with you before that I have hired many people in my career but have rarely laughed in any interviews until you. I feel so priveledged to have known you. You were so helpful to me when I was losing my dear Murray as you were going through the same thing with your Linus. Murray got her wheels because of you. I know Linus and Murray will be there for you and will be of great joy. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I will miss you.

Hi Ann, I was just thinking about how you have the best laugh and how it is one of those laughs that sticks in my head. That's how I know that a little of you is with us forever. Because whenever I think of you, I will always know what it sounds like when I want to hear it. Love, Jessie Baade

Dear Ann, I apologize if this comment appears twice - I tried to leave one before signing up with Google, so not sure. Anyway, I want you to know how much you are missed at MassMutual and in HR. What an absolute joy you have been to work with - I loved having you on teams to plan all employee meetings, knowing I could always count on you to bring the right amount of levity, joy, irreverence and fun to the event. My heart is with you.
