This address in a small Midwestern factory town was the launching pad for a life that has been messy, painful, Catholic, overseas, underpaid, in denial, in recovery, coming out, standing up, increasing glorious (if flawed), and under construction for over 50 years.

Dear Val,
Thank You so much for, what has undoubtedly been, your extensive blog and grief management! What a tremendous loss!! I wish I could have been a better communicator...I had no idea our dear Ann was suffering so, not to mention teetering in death's doorway-what a horrible, horrible loss for us all. Just glad she and Linda, and Shwea can all dance together, now. Sincere thanks for helping us all through this very hard time!
Thats really sad!!
I was missing Ann today and was looking for her facebook page. I think its been deleted.
Anyway, thank you for continuing with this blog.....so I can visit Ann from time to time in cyber space.
I still miss you daily....
